Arts Culture & Community Grant Program
Tour Lake County invests nearly $100K into the County every year through our Arts Culture & Community (ACC) Grant program. Our goal is to support events and programs focused on culture, history, and the fine and performing arts that also positively impact the travel and tourism industry in Lake County. We grant roughly 40 recipients annually and expect the number of applicants to continue growing.
Applicants do not have to be an entity incorporated in Lake County but the event must take place in Lake County. Additionally, the event must also be verified to increase tourism and overnight stays in Lake County.
Tour Lake County recognizes the economic and cultural impact of our arts and culture programs for potential visitors. However, applicants must be aware that the grant funding process is competitive and not an entitlement or guarantee.
The Arts Culture & Community Grant program grant projects must:
Increase attendance and visitor spending by attracting NEW visitors from outside of Lake County
Enhance events, programs, or their destination through arts and cultural elements.
Encourage growth and strengthen community bonds through arts and culture.
New This Year
Tour Lake County is working on a beta Marketing Plan for specific events or similar groupings of events. This plan will be at no cost to our grant recipients. We will connect with these groups after receiving and reviewing all of our 2026 grant submissions.
** As a reminder, supplemental funding from the American Rescue Plan Act has expired and there will be no additional funding in 2026 and beyond.
Arts Culture & Community Grant Application
All applications are due no later than the close of business on March 2, 2026, to be considered for a 2026 grant. Early submission will ensure we can verify that all needed documentation has been received in ample time before making a decision on each application.
The maximum Arts and Culture grant award is $10,000.
**Please be advised that Tour Lake County does not wholly fund any project for any other entity or organization and therefore, your entity or organization must have proof of 1:1 cash match.
Community Events Grant fund
Tour Lake County has established a Community Events Grant fund for events that fit the Arts, Culture, Community Grant criteria, but do not generate significant overnight room nights. Grants ranging from $100 to $1,000 will be awarded from this fund.
