-
No! You don’t have to order hot chocolate to participate. The Hot Chocolate Trail is all about getting out and supporting participating Lake County businesses. You do need to make a purchase at each location in order to check in, but what you purchase is up to you.
-
Hot Chocolate Trail mugs are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Completing the required number of check-ins makes you eligible to receive a mug but does not guarantee one will still be available. To keep things fair for all participants, mugs cannot be held or reserved.
-
Mugs can be picked up at the Tour Lake County Welcome Center during available pickup hours. Because our office hours and staff availability can vary, especially during the holiday season, we strongly recommend calling us at 440-975-1234 before making a special trip.
We may also host Hot Cocoa Parties at participating trail locations, offering additional opportunities to pick up your mug during extended hours. Keep an eye on our website, email and social media for upcoming dates and locationsiption text goes here
-
Qualifying prizes must be picked up by February 26th or until supplies last! Prizes cannot be claimed after the redemption period ends, so please plan to pick yours up before the deadline.
-
Yes! Someone else may pick up your mug on your behalf. They’ll need to provide the full name and email address associated with your Hot Chocolate Trail pass so our staff can verify that you’ve earned the prize.
-
Yes, but each participant must have their own Hot Chocolate Trail pass registered with a separate email address. Multiple participants can use the same device, but you’ll need to log out and log back in with each individual account when checking in.
-
Each Hot Chocolate Trail stop is an independently operated business and sets its own hours. Hours may vary or change, especially during the holiday season, so we strongly recommend checking directly with the business before making a special trip.
