Join us for CHALKFEST with WAC
The Willoughby Arts Collaborative will be hosting their 6th Annual Chalkfest on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 10:00-4:30 pm in Downtown Willoughby. This year’s theme is TEXTURE. This year’s Chalkfest will feature a local Artist, Madyson Sinkovic Madyson has been a participant, in Chalkfest, for the last 5 years. She won 1st place last year and was offered an opportunity to be our Featured Artist for Chalkfest 2026. Madyson is a 2025 graduate from the Cleveland Institute of Art in Cleveland, Ohio. When she is not creating chalk murals, she is busy creating illustrations for children’s books where storytelling and discovery go hand in hand.
Adults can register for the competition under CALL FOR ARTIST on the Willoughby Arts Collaborative website: willoughbyartscollaborative.org
Children can create sidewalk murals by participating in the Children’s Chalkfest category. Children can register on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Willoughby Arts Collaborative booth in front of the Willoughby Library.
Madyson will host a workshop “Exploring Color Theory” next to the Mosonic Temple, 40 Public Square Willoughby from 3:30-4:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Registration can be made: willoughbyartscollaborative.org or the day of the workshop.
