2) Trick or Treat In the Grand River Valley

Enjoy the harvest with us in the Grand River Valley and experience autumnal menus, seasonal cocktails, and fall-inspired events! Savor the last few sunny patio days or cozy up before the fireplace with your favorite glass!

Dinner and a Thrill with Regal Vineyards

  • Join Grand River Cellars and Regal Vineyards for the annual Dinner and a Thrill Package! Stop at Grand River Cellars for dinner before visiting the Haunted Winery for an evening of chills and thrills. Your $32 package gives you $15 towards any appetizer/dinner AND admits you into the Haunted Winery (a $40 value).

  • This event occurs on Friday and Saturdays only from 9/27-11/2.

Adult Trick or Treat Wine and Cocktail Trail

  • Ghouls just wanna have fun! We’ve conjured up a great time in the Grand River Valley with an Adult Trick or Treat! At Grand River Cellars, Debonné Vineyards, Cask 307, Corkscrew Taphouse, South River Vineyard, Red Eagle Distillery, and Black Door Tavern, enjoy 2 wine samples or a mini cocktail and a fall-themed or ghoulish appetizer for $9 per person at each location. Try the featured signature cocktail/sangria for an additional fee.

  • Pick up a trail card at any location and turn in your completed card at your last stop within the month of October for a chance to win an Overnight Wine Country Getaway Package. Prize includes an overnight stay at one of our Wine Country hotels and $25 gift certificates to each participating location!

Autumn is known for its stunning color palette! As the leaves change in northeast Ohio, the Holden Arboretum and Cleveland Botanical Garden will be the top spots to view peak fall color! 5) Find Your Pumpkin and Go Apple Picking At Local Farms

Spend an afternoon visiting Lake County farms, farmstands, and marketplaces for apple picking, apple cider slushies, and local seasonal produce including PUMPKINS!

Patterson’s Fruit Farm

Patterson’s is a 6-generational farm, filled with history, dedication and a promise to provide high-quality produce to families and their community. The market is open year-round market with seasonal produce, crisp apples, maple syrup, apple cider, pies & donuts baked fresh daily!

West Orchards Farm Market

West Orchards

West Orchards is located near the fertile banks of Lake Erie, in Lake County, in the north east corner of Ohio. On their 70 acre farm, they grow various deciduous fruit tree varieties including sour cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, pears, & apples!

Marsh Creek Farms

March Creek Farms has been growing in Mentor since 1950! This season, they will be open from October 4th-November 2nd. Find your perfect pumpkin and free family activities including their corn mazes! Enjoy their ‘Which Witch’ hike on Saturdays where you’ll take a turn through the woods and and avoid the witches on the wrong turns!

Lake Metroparks Farmpark

Lake Metroparks Farmpark is a working farm and education center located in Kirtland, Ohio. Farmpark features dairy cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, horses, alpacas, and goats, a plant science center, farm machinery exhibits, playground and more. Horse or tractor-drawn wagons provide visitors rides to all destinations throughout the park. Wagons are handicap accessible.

Visit Lake Metroparks Farmpark, a live working farm and host to multiple fall harvest events!

7) Check Out The Skeleton Grove At The Holden Arboretum

This fall, the forest comes alive in the most unexpected way. Wander through Skeleton Grove at The Holden Arboretum, where towering, artist-designed skeletons strike playful poses among vibrant fall foliage.

A group of twelve foot skeletons has found a new home in the Main Display Garden, creeping towards the Corning Visitor Center. Our horticulture team insists they’re friendly, but you’ll have to find out for yourself. Each skeleton has its own style and personality. Come find your spooky best friend!
