CLEVELAND, Ohio - The “Best of Cleveland” team is at it again! Your friends here at Cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer are on the hunt for the best tacos to be had in The Land. Our next endeavor depends on you, dear readers. You never let us down, showing us time and again that Cleveland is a foodie town.

You came out in droves to support your favorite wing spots when it came to voting in our Top 3 wing restaurants in Northeast Ohio: Best of Cleveland readers’ poll!

We doubled down and challenged you to tell us where to find the best donuts Best Donuts in Northeast Ohio: Here are the winners.

And most recently you led us to the Best burgers in Greater Cleveland: Here are the winners

Now, with Cinco de Mayo, just around the corner, we’ve moved on to asking you for nominations on where to find the perfect tacos in all of Northeast Ohio. Are your ready to rally for your favorite establishments?

Here at “Best of Cleveland HQ,” we’ve thrilled watching your nominations pour in. We have now narrowed the field down to the top 24 nominated taco joints. There are that many great places to get tacos in Northeast Ohio and you’ve identified them.

Now it’s time to vote. How will the search for the best tacos in Greater Cleveland land? It’s all on you. This first round will determine the Top 10. Head on over to our poll at cleveland.com/best to vote for your favorite.

Keep in mind that you aren’t voting for a particular favorite taco, so much as the establishment that makes the best ones. We know you love them all, even if you have a particular go-to. But your fingertips, mouse clicks and enthusiasm is what will help us find the very best of ‘em.
