A staircase behind Julia’s 1902 in Willoughby leads diners to a very different dining experience.

Hungry Ghost, the new speakeasy-style restaurant tucked below Julia’s 1902, combines an intimate underground setting with the bold flavors of southern Mexico and Guatemala. The space offers shareable small plates, craft cocktails and tasting menus.

While Julia’s 1902 has earned a following for Chef Jose Coronado’s cooking, Hungry Ghost gives him the opportunity to explore a more personal side of his and his wife Anna’s culinary heritage.
