Mentor-on-the-Lake Fall Festival returns full of entertainment, food options
Mentor-on-the-Lake is preparing to welcome residents and visitors alike to the 8th annual Fall Festival, a community tradition that celebrates the spirit of autumn with music, food and family-friendly fun.
Scheduled for Sept. 6, the event will run from 1 to 7 p.m. on the City Hall grounds at 5860 Andrews Road.
“Our administration staff and service department works very hard to put on this event every year,” Mayor Dave Eva said. “We look forward to a great turnout on Sept. 6.”
This year’s festival is headlined by a performance from the Cleveland Breakfast Club from 4 to 7 p.m. They are a band known for renditions of classic hits.
In addition to live music, attendees can enjoy a variety of entertainment including TADA magic show at 1 p.m., animal encounters with Jungle Terry at 3 p.m. and activities for children such as bounce houses from 1 to 6 p.m. and pony rides from 2 to 4 p.m.
Local vendors will be on hand offering handmade crafts, seasonal goods and unique items, while food trucks and a beverage tent will provide a wide selection of refreshments. From savory bites to sweet treats, the culinary offerings will feature Senor Masa Taco truck, Shafer’s Little Blue trailer, Cousins Maine Lobster truck, Chef T’s BBQ truck and East Coast Custard.
Admission and parking for the festival are free.
“As the leaves begin to turn and the air grows crisp, the Fall Festival offers a perfect opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy the season, and create lasting memories,” Mentor-on-the-Lake Administrative Assistant Kenny Ice said. “Whether you’re a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, Mentor-on-the-Lake’s Fall Festival is a must-attend event that captures the heart of small-town charm and autumn joy.”
Ice stressed the festival being supported by sponsors including CEC, NOPEC, Marathon Auto Service, Lakeshore Shores and Beverages and many more help make the celebration possible.
Administrative Director Jaclyn Martin said a collaborative effort and dedication to the residents of the city and surrounding areas drives the event.
“”This Fall Festival is the result of passion, teamwork and a deep love for our community,” she said. “We’ve worked hard to make it something truly special—and we invite everyone to come celebrate the season with us.”
