Debonne Vineyards

Wineries and Distilleries

What better way to enjoy the day than a glass of wine and your faithful companion? Bring your pup along with you to the Grand River Valley wine region, located 20 miles east of Cleveland, OH. Within a 10-mile radius, you’ll find the area’s finest boutique and estate wineries, where you can sip and sample award-winning Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and our region’s famous Ice Wine.

The Grand River Valley Wine Region is a federally designed American Viticultural Area (AVA), located within two miles of Ohio’s Grand River. The Grand River Valley was formed by retreating glaciers that carved out the Great Lakes and deposited a ridge of fertile soil ideal for the cultivation of vineyards. Slopes and valleys move air and drain water, playing a major role in the agricultural success of the plentiful grape varietals grown in the Grand River Valley. The landscape, micro-climate, rich soil, and innovative wine-making techniques combine to identify the Grand River Valley.

Not interested in a winery? Check out Seven Brothers Distillery, a locally owned artisan distillery offering hand-crafted spirits with unique flavor profiles, and enjoy their outdoor patio with your pet.
