The Wickliffe Forever Foundation will soon be presenting the 8th annual Rock the Mansion, a free community event that features live music, food, drinks and fireworks at Coulby Mansion in Wickliffe.

Rock the Mansion is scheduled to take place on Sept. 13 from 5 to 10 p.m. Throughout the evening, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of local food trucks along with beer and seltzers that will be available for purchase.

This year’s event will feature Wide Awake — A U2 Experience, a U2 tribute band that will headline the event with a performance of U2’s hits.

The tribute band hails from Rochester, New York, and has been performing since 2021. The band’s setlist spans more than 40 years of U2’s career from worldwide hits to songs rarely performed.

Mike Mulroy and Friends, as well as Ace Molar will also be performing at this year’s Rock the Mansion.

“Several years ago, and when this first started and Wickliffe Forever came up with the name Rock the Mansion, I thought that was the coolest name for an event,” said Mayor Joe Sakacs. “Every year, they take it to another level and the headliners get better, and more and more people from all over the region come to enjoy the show. I get many messages and emails for weeks after the event from people saying what a great time they had.”

The Wickliffe Forever Foundation is a nonprofit community-based organization founded in 2015 with a mission to enhance the quality of Wickliffe, strengthen the local economy and build lasting community pride.

The foundation works alongside city officials, neighboring communities, businesses and organizations to create opportunities that highlight, and celebrate Wickliffe. In addition to Rock the Mansion, the foundation hosts the city’s official Holiday Lighting ceremony and the Hometown Hero Banner program that honors veterans, and service members.
