America 250 Lake County Independence Day Celebration

Join Lake County for a FREE patriotic Independence Day celebration featuring music, ceremonies, family activities, a community signing of the Declaration of Independence, and fireworks.

The first 1,000 attendees will receive a commemorative America 250 challenge coin.


Featured Events

Opening Ceremony

Beginning at 6:00 PM, the evening will feature a welcome, invocation, presentation of colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, recognition of dignitaries, and a community-wide signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Help us celebrate Lake County's centenarians and honor the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans.

“Celebrity” Softball Game & Family Fun

Enjoy the ceremonial first pitch, children's on-field games, and a patriotic costume contest.

America's Story

Experience a reading of the Declaration of Independence and participate in the continuing community signing ceremony.

Patriotic Music & Fireworks

The evening concludes with patriotic music, a salute to our veterans, and a fireworks display beginning at 10:00 PM.
