Nominate Lake County's Greatest Historical American Figures
Nominate up to three historical figures, with ties to Lake County, to be considered for the America 250 bobblehead that will be given away in 2026 at the America 250 event on July 4, 2026, at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake, home of the Lake County Captains.
We are looking for nominations of people with ties to the Revolutionary War and/or Lake Countians who made significant contributions to the creation and formation of the United States of America as we know it today.
Nominations will be accepted from Tuesday, December 16 (the date of the original Boston Tea Party) through Friday, January 16, 2026. The list of nominations will then be pared down to a list of three to five people, and then an online vote will take place through President’s Day, Monday, February 16, 2026
