I am sitting where we had a wonderful joint party for my 70th and my late husband's 75th birthdays almost two years ago, last November 2024. He passed away from brain cancer on 5/6/25. Spread his ashes here last summer in front of the lakeshore lodge, where we both loved sitting every day throughout the year, no matter the season. Such a peaceful place to be just staring at the lake.

Lake Erie is so comforting, and it always soothes the soul to be here anytime!
