Concerts & More at the Glen

Lake Metroparks invites you to enjoy summer evenings filled with free live music and family-friendly performances at Concerts & More at the Glen, held at Penitentiary Glen Reservation.

Concerts – select Fridays, 7–8:30 pm

Enjoy toe-tapping tunes performed by talented local musicians. From blues to rock to classic pop, there's something for everyone.

Storytime Puppet Theater – select Thursdays, 7–8 pm

These nature-themed puppet shows are perfect for families, featuring engaging stories and colorful characters sure to delight audiences of all ages.

The 2025 schedule includes:

·        June 5 – Storytime Puppet Theater: Rockin Robin

·        June 13 – Stamper Starr (blues)

·        July 11 – Swamp Rattlers (blues/rock)

·        July 17 – Storytime Puppet Theater: Groovy Garden

·        August 14 – Storytime Puppet Theater: Funky Forest

·        August 22 – InCahootz (classic rock/pop)

Bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the performances comfortably on the lawn. In case of rain, shows will be held indoors. During the events, guests can also explore the Nature Center and Wildlife Center Yard, both open throughout the evening.

Restrooms are located inside the Nature Center. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the Nature Store, and outside food and drinks are welcome.
