🎇Holiday Ice & Lights Festival - Lake Metroparks

Lake Metroparks Farmpark is kicking off the holiday season with a brand-new celebration, the Holiday Ice & Lights Festival, inviting families to step into a world of lights, laughter and a little North Pole magic. From twinkling displays to shimmering sculptures, this debut event brings the wonder of the holidays to life for guests of all ages.

Guests can enjoy an assortment of festive activities inspired by some of Santa and Mrs. Claus’ own favorite holiday traditions. Start your visit by posing for a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus in their festive sleigh, a cherished spot for capturing holiday memories. From there, explore the North Pole Train Display, meticulously crafted by the talented elves of the Northern Ohio Garden Railway Society. Bigger and more intricate than ever, the display features whimsical details and hidden surprises that delight visitors of all ages, much like Santa’s personal train room. Families can also decorate Mrs. Claus’ famous sugar cookies (small fee) before stepping outside to watch talented ice carvers transform blocks of ice into shimmering sculptures featuring festive characters and seasonal elements. A wagon ride through dazzling light displays offers a chance to take in the sparkling magic of the park, followed by a holiday-themed equine show showcasing spirited performances. Guests can warm up with seasonal drinks and treats from local vendors (small fee) and browse the Farmpark gift shop for unique holiday gifts, rounding out a full day of enchanting experiences.

“The Holiday Ice & Lights Festival is a joyful way to bring people together and celebrate what makes this time of year so special,” said Andy McGovern, event manager at Lake Metroparks Farmpark. “We’re excited to expand our in-person holiday experiences and give families a new way to make lasting memories at Farmpark.”

The Holiday Ice & Lights Festival takes place November 28–30, with special event hours from noon to 9 p.m. Regular Farmpark admission or membership applies. For full event details, visit https://goto.lakemetroparks.com/holiday-ice-lights-festival.
