KIRTLAND, Ohio — A popular fall display is returning to the Holden Arboretum for the Halloween season, bringing more than a dozen towering skeletons back to Northeast Ohio.

Skeleton Grove opens Saturday, Sept. 19, and will run through Sunday, Nov. 1 at the Holden Arboretum in Kirtland.

This year’s exhibit features 14 artist-decorated skeletons, each standing 12 feet tall. The skeletons will be scattered throughout the arboretum’s Main Display Garden, with each featuring its own design created by participating artists.

The seasonal attraction is returning after proving popular with visitors in previous years.

Skeleton Grove is located at the Holden Arboretum, 9550 Sperry Road in Kirtland.

The Holden Arboretum is part of Holden Forests & Gardens, which also operates the Cleveland Botanical Garden in University Circle
