June is Ohio Wine Month
June was designated as Ohio Wine Month and what better way to enjoy our Northeast Ohio Wineries, than to celebrate in the Grand River Valley?
The Grand River Valley Wine Region is a federally designated American Viticultural Area (AVA) located within two miles of Ohio’s Grand River! The area was formed by retreating glaciers that carved out the Great Lakes and deposited a ridge of fertile soil ideal for the cultivation of vineyards.
