The Fine Arts Association recently announced the appointment of Amy Sabath as its new managing director, effective Aug. 31.
Sabath has more than 20 years of nonprofit and public-sector leadership experience, and the Willoughby-based FAA noted she is a passionate advocate for arts education, workforce development and community-based programming, according to a news release.
She most recently served as executive director for both Nonprofit & Civic Engagement, and Career Services & Workforce Development for Lake Erie College. Previously she held management positions at Lakeland Community College and served as The Fine Arts Association’s director of development.
She succeeds Paul Holm who served from 2019 to 2026.
“We are thrilled to welcome Amy back to FAA,” Board President Noelle Sieradzki stated in the release. “After a thorough search, it
was clear that she brings exactly the leadership, vision and experience our organization needs for this next chapter. We have no doubt she will bring new energy, clarity, and momentum to FAA, and that the students, families, staff, faculty and communities we serve will feel the difference.
“We cannot wait to see what we build together.”
The Fine Arts Association conducted a search process led by its Leadership Transition Task Force, with input from board members, staff and community stakeholders.
“I am honored to lead The Fine Arts Association and to help shape its next chapter,” Sabath stated in the release. “FAA has played an important role in my own life — as a student, as a staff member, and as a parent — and I understand firsthand the impact this
organization can have on individuals and families.
“My goal is to build on that strong foundation, strengthen our connections throughout the community, and ensure that the arts continue to be accessible, meaningful and transformative for generations to come.”
